Casterton Primary Academy joined the Trust in June 2018. With 300 pupils, the school is located in Burnley and is well established, offering a broad, enriched curriculum for primary education. There is a strong focus on reading, writing and maths, as well as enhancing children’s learning through broad ‘enrichment experiences’ with trips and visits.

Staff want every child to be happy at school and in the community. They know that all children can achieve their best when they are happy. That includes helping them to believe in themselves and understand that they can aim high!

They are passionate about promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children and are committed to providing a welcoming, community atmosphere in which they can nurture the achievements of every child.
