Castercliff Primary Academy joined the Trust in September 2015. The Academy is located in Nelson and is well established, offering a broad, enriched curriculum for primary education. Castercliff Primary Academy has strong links with local nurseries to offer a smooth transition to the Academy. There is a strong focus on reading, writing, maths and science as well as enhancing children’s learning through broad ‘enrichment experiences’ with trips and visits.

Academy Principal Mark Sherwin leads a team of loyal and dedicated staff who all want to do their best for the children in their care. They strive to promote and support excellent practice within the school, with childrens' happiness and development at its core.
